oh, fiddlesticks.

so much good happened tonight, mostly in the form of talking to a friend. I’m glad I have a friend who understands me and doesn’t think I’m weird for being so introverted. it’s nice.

the only bad thing about tonight was that I had every intention of studying so now it’s one less day that I’ve studied for my chem test :/ but today we started making crystals, and I have to say, as much as I hate chemistry, it’s pretty neat that you can take the right chemicals and they will turn this egg yolk color, and then you heat it and add other stuff and it turns this ugly rust brown, and then you heat it and add other stuff and it turns a gorgeous clear emerald green that will slowly and eventually turn into crystals. it’s kind of neat that I get to learn about it. I don’t understand why that will happen, and I’m sure I could figure it out, but the mystery of it is a little more fascinating me. it’s nice to know that beautiful things are happening and will happen even if I don’t know it or understand why.
